Belgium by Saab Tour

For foreign people who would like to discover more of our little country, we offer the possibility to participate also to our “Belgium by Saab Tour” starting on Wednesday the 1st of August.

Depending where in Europe you are coming from you can choose to start with one of these groups:

Group 1: West

The itinerary we probably will follow will be: Leuze-en-Hainaut > Pipaix > Geraardsbergen > Brussels > Francorchamps > Eupen > Remouchamps > Spa

And you will get the opportunity to visit: 2 impressive car museums, a brewery, the Atomium, a chocolate factory & many more.

Group 2: North

The itinerary we probably will follow will be: Hoogstraten > Tielen > Lille > Herentals > Lier > Mechelen > Brussels > Francorchamps > Remouchamps > Eupen > Spa

And you will get the opportunity to see touristic places, an impressive car museum, the Atomium, a chocolate factory & many more.

Group 3: South

The itinerary we probably will follow will be: Hognoul > Liège > Tienen > Brussels > Francorchamps > Eupen > Remouchamps > Spa

And you will get the opportunity to discover a museum with 7000 years of history, an impressive car museum, the Atomium, a chocolate factory & many more.

Every group will arrive in the area of Spa for Thursday evening. Maybe good to know when booking your accommodation…

The “Belgium by Saab Tour” option is available for every foreign Intsaab2012 participant. It will be limited to 25 cars / group. If one of the groups is full we will contact you by mail and suggest you an alternative group.

The meeting’s address is: Place Royale 41, 4900 Spa.

We can’t guarantee you at this time all of them are still available for the date of the meeting.

We recommend you to book your accommodation as soon as possible.

For people who are camping: we have an agreement with Parc des Sources which is the nearest campsite. You can book directly on their website. Please fill "Saab" in the remark field. It is not necessary to book for at least 5 days as written on their site. Attention: this is not a very big campsite, and they only can guarantee us space for 50 tents, caravans & campers.
Update: this campsite is full !!! 

If you prefer to sleep in a hut, or on a campsite which can offer you more comfort we can recommend you Camping Spa d’Or at 4,7 km (2,9 mi) distance of the meeting location. 

Registration

The registration to participate to the International Saab Club Meeting 2012 has opened, and you are invited to fill in the registration form. You are free to choose if you are coming for the complete weekend (recommended) or only on Saturday. Sunday is always for free.

The “Belgium by Saab Tour” is optional, and will be limited to 25 cars/group.

Optionally for as well the meeting as “Belgium by Saab Tour” participants there will be a track session on Thursday the 2th of August from 6 to 8 PM on the famous track of Spa-Francorchamps.

Please fill in the registration form as complete as possible, and make sure your payment reaches us latest for the 31 May 2012 to avoid your registration to be cancelled.

The 99 first participants who will have paid their registration fee will get an extra at their arrival in Spa !

The registration fee for the complete weekend includes:

• 1 bag / car
• 1 rallye plate / car
• 1 information card of your car
• 1 programme book / car
• 1 sticker / participant
• 1 lanyard with name card / participant
• 1 shirt / adult
• 3 “shiny extra’s / car
• 1 admission for the dinner on Friday evening / participant
• 5 cards to participate to the Bingo game on Friday evening / participant
• 1 admission for the dinner with animation on Saturday evening / participant

For participants participating only on Saturday, the same as above excluding:

• The dinner on Friday evening
• The 5 Bingo cards
